UCAT GROUP COURSE 2025

This consists of a series of group lessons prepared by Ojas, one of the UK's highest-scoring UCAT tutors (2640/2700 --> 900 QR, 870VR, 870DM).

This course is reintroduced after the immense success of group and 1-1 students in the previous admissions cycle (several students scoring 3400+ and 3500+ or the equivalent of 2500-2600+) with university placements including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, KCL + countless others!

6-7 PM: Saturday, 26th July - Verbal Reasoning I (Approaches for Specific vs Inference Questions)

6-7 PM: Sunday, 27th July - Situational Judgement

6-7 PM: Saturday, 2nd August - Decision Making II (Logic Puzzles; Arguments)

6-7 PM: Sunday, 3rd August - Quantitative Reasoning II

6-7 PM: Saturday, 9th August - Verbal Reasoning II

6-7 PM: Sunday, 10th August - Decision Making III (Probabilities, Venn Diagrams, Recap)

6-7 PM: Sunday, 17th August - Personal Statement Masterclass [see more information below!]

Plan:

Quantitative Reasoning

- How to approach the most badly answered question types in a time-efficient manner (e.g. taxes, interest, conversions, multi-step calculations)

- Time-saving calculation strategies

Decision Making

- How to manage time in the DM subsection

- Detailed exploration of strategies for each DM question type (syllogisms, logic puzzles, arguments, interpreting information, probabilities)

Verbal Reasoning

- Exactly which VR questions to answer or skip

- Time-efficient strategies for each VR question type

Situational Judgement

- Dissection of the key themes involved in SJT scenarios

- Developing a framework that will enable you to score band 1 every time

An opportunity for Q&A will be presented both during & at the end of each webinar. You may also share questions with your MyUCAT UCAT Buddy™.

Note: this will be an interactive format. Students will be encouraged to have microphones on for durations of the class (no pressure though!)

Can't make these dates? Not to worry - the classes will all be recorded & hosted on our secure Google Classroom platform. For privacy reasons, these will not be shared widely (e.g. YouTube/offered for sale) and will only be available to those that sign up now.

Who are some of the UCAT Buddies this year (amongst others)?

5 x weekly sessions with your UCAT Buddy™ will be decided as per mutual convenience of the 5 students in your group.

During this period, you will also be arranging 1 x 1-1 UCAT lesson with a UCAT Buddy™ AND following the UCAT exam, 1 x 1-1 personal statement review session. You may also contact your UCAT Buddy™ on the group chat with any questions!
